Teaching, Supervision and Assessment Method
- Teaching involves several methods to ensure the learning process is effectively achieved. Among the methods are:
1. Pre-recorded live lecture
Enable students to replay the lecture anywhere and anytime. Each lecture was recorded and organized into the student's learning management system (KeLIP).

2. Real-time formative assessment during lecture
Enable instant feedback to any misunderstanding based on previously shown lecture’s slides. It also keeps students focused in the lecture session. Students will know instantly his mistake and learn from it before the lecture ends.

3. Demonstration
This method is vital in teaching computer programming as the theory may be hard to be visualized. By doing a live demonstration, students will be exposed with common mistakes that they may be experiencing during applying the topics.

4. Online Practical lab
In a normal lab session, students may be working alone without having the attention from the teacher. Using an online practical lab, a teacher can proactively monitor and interrupt any student who has not yet completed the task.

5. Project-based facilitation
Usually the teacher will assign the students with a project to be completed. However, the progress for the student to complete the project may not be as expected such as they may fail to deliver on time, or they tend to copy other’s work. Using this method, the student will complete the tasks incrementally under teacher facilitation during the face to face weekly session slot. Usually it takes 4-7 weeks for them to be facilitated to complete the projects.

5. Automated essay mark
It requires teacher’s workload and tend to be tedious to mark each student answer especially in programming subjects. Through automated assessment system that I have developed, student will get instant feedback of their coding either correct or not.
