Dr. Wan Anwar Fahmi bin Wan Mohamad, who is also known among his students as Sir Fahmi, is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Bioresources and Food Industry, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA). Although he just began his career as a lecturer at UniSZA in 2018, he joined the institution back in 2011, several months after graduating from MEng in Chemical Engineering at University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. He was first appointed as an Assistant Lecturer, then a Research Assistant, before being appointed as an Academic Fellow, which allowed him to do his PhD in Food Engineering and Analysis at Monash University, Australia. Upon his graduation in 2018, he applied for the position as a lecturer at UniSZA and since then became a family member of the School of Food Industry at the Faculty of Bioresources and Food Industry in UniSZA's Besut Campus. His research interest lies in the field of emulsion and its applications on food products such as dairy and beverages. His journey as an academic is still very long and full of uncertainty, but certainly his passion to share his little knowledge and expertise with others is inevitable. Please do him good!
