My teaching and learning process involves a combination of traditional, direct methods such as tutorial-oriented classes, and more innovative approaches such as the use of virtual reality (VR) for immersive classroom experiences. This approach has become increasingly relevant in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced many educators to explore new ways of delivering instruction remotely.
In order to effectively integrate VR into my teaching and learning process, I have developed a personal teaching and learning framework. This framework takes into account the unique needs and learning styles of my students, as well as the specific content and goals of my class. By using this framework, I am able to create immersive and engaging VR experiences that complement and enhance my traditional teaching methods.
I believe that with more insight and understanding of how to effectively utilize VR as an assistive technology, it can greatly benefit my teaching and learning process. VR can be an effective tool for creating immersive and interactive classroom experiences, regardless of whether students are in person or online. This will help me to better meet the needs of my students and create more engaging and effective learning experiences for them.
