2. SOCIAL MEDIA, APPS AND PLATFORMS USED FOR TEACHING & LEARNING ACTIVITIES
Coming from a medical background with very little knowledge of information technology, my journey in using digital tools for teaching and learning has been a gradual but meaningful process. At the beginning, I was not confident with technology and only used basic applications. However, over the past 10 years, I began to realise that the use of IT in education was growing rapidly, and whether I liked it or not, I needed to adapt.
As educators, we are now teaching a younger generation who are highly familiar with technology, social media and digital communication. Their expectations are different from previous generations and this encouraged me to explore new ways of making my teaching more engaging, interactive, and relevant to their learning styles.
Step by step, I started using various platforms and applications such as PowToon, YouTube, Facebook, and later TikTok. I also explored other digital tools, including artificial intelligence applications, animations and multimedia resources. These tools helped me present information in a more creative and accessible way, especially for students who learn better through visual and interactive content.
This collection of media reflects my personal and professional growth over the past 10 years from 2015 to 2026 in using IT to support teaching and learning. Although the journey was challenging at first, it has strengthened my confidence and encouraged me to continue improving my digital skills as an educator.OUR COURSE FACEBOOK PAGE

Our course TikTok help us to publish our students project on health promotion. Each student's project is uploaded on TikTok so that it can reach the public. The project is focusing on educating the community on medicine and haeth. Do visit and follow our TikTok.

4. GRANT RELATED TO TEACHING & LEARNING
1. SOTL (2022)
We managed to secure a SOTL grant worth RM5,000 in 2022 which I was a team member. We managed to have several outputs from this grant; one publication, one module, one IP and one participation in AKRI (UniSZA).

We also manage to secure a DPU grant on research related to outcome based education. (Member)
5. OUR TEAMS PHYSICAL & EBOOK ON PRACTICAL CLINICAL SKILLS
This book was created by us and the content are in the form of embedded video on practical skills. The book is in the form of physical and ebook and is used by students undergoing family medicine course. This book manage to get a gold medal UniCEL 2024 and 2nd place for short video on its usage in teaching & learning.

My YouTube videos that I created for my Lecture for Introduction to medical Ethics.

Year 3, MBBS
Having no background in IT, I was struggling to create YouTube videos for my video lecture using scenario based. Most of the times, I used YouTube tutorial to guide me with video creation and editing. Among the apps and tools that I used were ClipChamp, Movie maker, text to audio converter, multiple sources for free images and voice recorder. I might have used the hard way compared to those who are expert in IT. But slowly and surely, I managed to produce multiple videos which are useful for my students. Many of these videos are used for my flip classroom approach.
