UniSZA IDRahimah Embong, PhD, is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Education, Dakwah and Islamic Civilization under the Faculty of Islamic Contemporary Studies, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Terengganu. She is the coordinator of the Master in Education Management program. In addition, she was appointed as the Director of the Center for Industrial & Community Networking at1st December 2018.
Previously, she held the Deputy Dean of Students Affairs and Alumni at the Faculty of General Studies & Advanced Education. She was a research fellow at Research Institute for Islamic products & Malay Civilization for four years (2014-2018). Her research interests are holistic education and an Islamic integrated curriculum. She is actively involved in supervising post-graduate students in the field of education, doing educational research activities, and publishing academic books and journals. Her primary teaching subjects are Research Methodology and Education Management courses.
She obtained her first degree in Islamic Revealed Knowledge & Heritage (major in Aqidah/ Dakwah and minor in Political Science) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) in 1995, Master of Science in Educational Administration from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and Doctor of Philosophy in Education from IIUM.
