Food Labelling Requirements
Attended the "Food Labelling Requirements" course organised by the School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia. The course was held at Sains@KL, MoF Inc. Tower, Kuala Lumpur, and provided comprehensive insights into current food labelling regulations and compliance standards in Malaysia, which are crucial in food product development to ensure regulatory compliance, consumer transparency, and market acceptance.
Halal Industry Fundamentals & Malaysian Halal Certificate Program
By attending the "Halal Industry Fundamentals & Malaysian Halal Certificate" program, I have gained a solid understanding of the core principles, regulatory frameworks, and certification procedures governing the Malaysian halal industry. This experience has strengthened my capacity to integrate halal-related standards into teaching, and industry collaboration.
DAAD DIES ProGRANT Proposal Writing
Participated in the DAAD DIES ProGRANT Proposal Writing for Research Grants workshop, organised by the University of Cologne, Germany. The program was held at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, and focused on enhancing skills in writing competitive research proposals for international funding opportunities. This workshop was fully funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Kursus Teknologi Retort Makanan
Attended the "Kursus Teknologi Retort Makanan: Kualiti Terjamin, Selamat & Berdaya Saing Ke Peringkat Global" organised by the Institute of Defence Science & Technology Research (STRIDE) and the Ministry of Defence Malaysia. The course was conducted at Kompleks Induk STRIDE, Kajang, Selangor, and D’Era Pauch Industries Sdn. Bhd., Nilai 3. It provided valuable exposure to retort food processing technology, focusing on quality assurance, food safety, and enhancing product competitiveness in the global market. The knowledge gained is especially important for my teaching, particularly in food processing classes, as it enables me to deliver industry-relevant content and practical applications to students.
